Who?

If you could use some help choosing paint colors, this is for you! You might be a homeowner, business owner, painter, builder, remodeler, home stager, real estate agent, etc. And you might be involved in updating, remodeling, building new construction, preparing to sell, etc.All services are delivered by me, Susan Livingston. I am a certified Architectural Color Consultant.

What?

I will help you choose paint colors for your space, inside and/or out. And this can be one color or a cohesive palette, for one or more spaces. I will bring color tools and large samples — color tools that combine the power of science with the art of color — and a library of large paint samples that are a real game changer. And if you would like to “try on” paint color changes before committing to paint, I also offer Photoshop color change renderings where I use a photo of your home and use Photoshop to repaint it. If you are making a major change, especially on exteriors, I may recommend that we start with a rendering before choosing paint colors. And once all the color selections have been made, I will order large color samples for you to keep (Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore only) that will arrive in 1-3 days. 

My  system is mostly based on Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams colors, but I am also able to help you with Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines, Miller Paint Evolution, and others as well.

If you could use help with color selection for other building material or decor items as well, I can help with that as well.

Where?

Consultations take place at your home or business, when possible, because paint colors need to coordinate with and are affected by their surroundings. And if it’s a major remodel or new construction, we’ll want to have samples of as many other building and decor materials as possible.

Onsite consultations are available for Idaho’s Ada County (Boise etc), Canyon County (Nampa etc) and beyond.

When?

While you don’t want to leave the paint decision until the last minute, it’s also best not to do it too early. It’s best to make other selections first, as the color choices for paint are much greater than the color choices for most other building materials and decor items. But don’t wait too long, as it’s nice to live with a color sample for a little while before painting.

Why?

I can’t say it as well as the quotes on the Home page, but the bottom line is that getting color right is crucial in achieving the look and feel you’re after. And paint in a great color costs no more than paint in a not-so-great color,.  So if you would like help, or if you’re finding that going it alone is costing you a lot of time, stress and/or money, I can help!
